Running Discussions| The Running Man-By Stephen King | | Now I know this is an old book of his but I'm only 22 and I've been reading his stuff for a very long time along with tons of other books so I haven't gotten around to reading EVERYTHING he has written. I recently just finished the last book in the Dark Tower series which took me around 3 years to finish. I used to read like crazy when I was younger but I guess when you have less responsibilities as a child you have more time to read lol. Anyway, I absolutely loved this story and I was sick this past week and I was able to finish the book in 3-4 days. It reminded me in a way of his book The Long Walk. The basic theme is the same anyway, a main character going against all odds in a horrifyingly barbaric competition to win money for a family who desperately needs it. I love the idea. And I found The Long Walk so intellectually disturbing. He didn't get too much into the world and society surrounding the character in The Long Walk like he did with The Running Man. But both were absolutely great and even though they had a common theme they were completely different stories with their own feel. | | My van is so beat up but hey its still running so I'll keep driving it | | I got my van from my father in law when my ex and I were together he gave it to us. Its not legally in our name and so far I havent had to pay the insurance on it but pretty soon that will be taken care of. Anyway my van is so awful the way it looks. The seats are so torn you can see the cushion material underneath that even has big holes in it. I just ordered pretty inexpensive seat covers for the front seats so they will look a little better and hopefully keep them from falling apart anymore. The dashboard light does not work. Right now I guess I have a tail light or brake lights out or something that I keep forgetting to have checked and fixed. The drivers side door hatch is frozen so I cant get in or out. The gasket on the back doors leaks so bad that when it rains you can watch the water pour in. The sliding door got damaged a year ago when I hit a guardrail so lately it has been stuck open and I had to wrap a bungee cord around it to keep it from flying open totally when we drive. Its still open about 2 inches so I am going to have to go out and use a screwdriver and try to close it so I can take the kids shopping today. I cannot wait till everything gets fixed. Let me know, have you ever though about running your own PTC? If so, why did you not already create your own PTC site? What held you back. If you created one, how is it going for you? Have any tips for those who would like to start their own?I personally, wanted to start my own PTC, not to get "Loads of money daily" but to actually start up a business, since I LOVE business. But what held me back was the pressure of paying members and the slightest mistake your reputation might go down the drain. So that personally bothers me, I have to be mentally prepared for such a thing. So let me know! What about you guys? Ever wanted to start a PTC, and if so did you already or not?Thanks for reading,

| | Running, running, running, running.......... | | Running, I like running, after I watch this moive, I like running much more, and I like Forrest Gump, when he begun running from his hometown, from this seaside to another one, so perseverent. Exactly, I like running when I studied in high school, when I studied in university, I run everyday, about 8km one day. When I began to work, I find that it is so little time for me to keep running everyday, so I just have to enjoy running club in holiday. Lotters, do you like Forrest Gump? I admire him. | |
| | | running shoes mizuno or scott | | so i am a triathlete that means running cycling and swiming and i need your opinion on running shoes we have wonderfull shops you go there you choose a shoe type and you can try them on on a running track so i have been trying all sorts from nike to assics but always mizuno suited me best so first i have bought mizuno something (forgot it has been long time since those shoes) then i had mizuno mustang 5 for 1 year and they were great and now i have mizuno wave elixir 3. and they are great i like them more than elixir 4 (tried them too) but then i was second in a competition and i got scott makani 1 running shoes i didnt even find a price on the internet only for makani 2 . but i have tried running first with my mizuno today and then with makani and i like them both they are just great and i am wondering what do you think about it?uck open and I had to wrap a bungee cord around it to keep it from flying open totally when we drive.
